On the 6th April, Company House introduced a number of improvements and additions to online services.
New Charges Regulations introduced a single scheme for all UK registered companies and enabled electronic filing of charge documents via our WebFiling and Software filing services for the first time. A new application form has been introduced to allow lenders to apply for the codes they need to file charge documents electronically.
New form types for Charges and Insolvency were also introduced on 6th April.
Due to new form types introduced on 6 April 2013 the charges’ information which will be viewed by searchers will either be in the new or old-style formats depending on the date of creation or when the information was registered. A certified copy of the deed will be available to view or download along with all new-style charge registration forms at no extra cost.
Also, as part of our rolling programme of improvements, enhancements have been made to the following WebFiling screens: change details forms (CH), registered office address (AD01) and SAIL forms (AD02, 03 & 04). These screens have been re-styled and simplified taking the user through a series of questions and answers to complete the information required.
Our Web Incorporations service has also been improved to allow WebFiling customers who state that both the situation of their registered office and their registered office address is to be in Wales to have the option of registering the information bilingually and have image output and certificates in both English and Welsh.
